1129 Spirits & Eatery was launched by a group of siblings who wanted to serve Pueblo with unique meals – they had their Grand Opening June 8th and now are serving lunch, dinner and drinks on the Riverwalk.

Here’s what people are saying and some pictures being loaded by customers at the eatery’s Facebook page the first few days of their opening:

“Amazing spin on traditional eats! Family owned and operated, fresh house made options, featuring Colorado brands!”

“Delicious food, beautiful site, great vibes, and fire drinks !!!!!! Favorite spot in town and I’m so happy it’s on the beautiful Riverwalk!”

“Great location on the Riverwalk, close to parking and the Main st bridge. Had the fried pickles, hamburger, and empanadas, every thing was very good.”

“We went tonight for dinner because we couldn’t wait until they officially opened… Even during training, everything was to perfection!”

“Great environment awesome service and the food rocks!!!”

“Such a friendly staff! I enjoyed the lavender drinks and they have really cool lights/atmosphere when the sun goes down with the perfect location on the Riverwalk!”

“The location, food (my husband and I both had the Monte Cristo & fries), service, decor, music- it was all spot on! We can’t wait to try everything on the menu!”

“We came this evening for a charity event with United Way, and the atmosphere was just amazing! We were totally taken back at what has been accomplished here! All of the staff was extremely friendly and upbeat! The food was unique and delicious, and the drinks were incredible! So excited that we’ve got something like this here in our little community now!”

“Four of us from our office had lunch this week at 1129. We were graciously met and served with courtesy. We had everything from a salad to a wrap, an empanada to a waffle Monte Cristo… it was all good and tasted hand prepared. There are several vegetarian options on the menu, along with what looked like some yummy burgers that were served to the table next to ours. Try the lavender cream soda our the lavender lemonade when you’re in—both very good. We were in and out in 1 hour, which is great for a work-day lunch.”
