PUEBLO SCENE – PUEBLO’S “RAZZ BAND” IS LIVE SATURDAY JUNE 29TH AT CARNITAS MICHOACANAS BACKYARD BAR AND GRILL IN THE COUNTY

Pueblo’s long time local Razz Band will take the stage with the Juanita Frank and Natalia Band starting at 9 pm at Carnitas, formerly Shorty’s Backyard Bar & Grill, where the new owners are featuring live music on weekends and for special events.

The Razz Band is a long-time Pueblo Spanish playing band that mixes it up with a little bit of country rock and oldies. Razz Band members include:

Larry Cardenas (leader lead vocals, and keyboards), who has been playing for 40+ years, lifetime resident of Pueblo.

Jose “Tiny” Gonzalez, with 20+years of experience (drummer and vocals), also a lifetime resident of Pueblo.

Mike ”Mickey” Lucero 40+ years (bass guitarist and vocals), lifetime Puebloean.

Ken Pacheco 40+years (guitarist and vocals), originally from New Mexico.

The Razz Band played at Patsy’s nightclub for 20+ years until she retired. They have also opened up for other popular bands in the past, including Al Hurricane and Al Hurricane Jr, Tierra and Malo.
