Double Up Colorado: Up to $20 in Free Food at Pueblo Farmer’s Market

The program is called Double Up Food Bucks Colorado and those eligible, who have a SNAP card, can get up to $20 in free fresh, Colorado grown fruits and veggies at participating farm stands, farmer’s markets, and stores. In Pueblo, the program is available at the El Pueblo Farmer’s Market, open seasonally 8:30 to 1 pm every Friday at 301 North Union Downtown.

Here’s how it works – Bring your Snap card to the farmers market info booth before you shop. Buy snap-eligible foods at the market with your Snap dollars. The Double UP Colorado program will match what you spend with Double Up Food Bucks—up to $20, every time you visit. Use them right away or later on to buy freshColorado – grown fruits & vegetables.
